small schools program proforma
Sharon was asked to modify the program mind map that is in her English units of work for small schools. The proforma is attached. It is designed so that each mode has three different levels (colour coded; purple, orange and blue) coming off it so that different stage outcomes can be selected for each mode. When looking at a multi-stage class as a class unit rather than stages, the proforma would allow the teacher for example to select stage 1, 2 and 3 outcomes for speaking and listening, but if writing and representing for example was a problem area, they may select Early Stage 1, Stage 1 and 2 outcomes. Sharon hopes this is a helpful tool for her small school colleagues who have a hard enough job as it is!
