This unit has specifically been aligned to the Australian Science Curriculum foundation or 'prep' year. In the unit 'Our Special Place', students explore features of their local environment by using their senses of sight, hearing and touch. By using the classroom and particularly the local environment, students discover and explore features of their immediate environment.
